Service Overview
Koru's approach to phone-free schools goes beyond bans and restrictions toward a culture of connection and learning. This workshop series is designed to support leaders with strategies to help all educators make a positive transition to a phone-free school culture. You will learn how to create school-wide conditions, engage parents and students, support teachers, and use data to monitor and refine phone-free policies.​

Who This is For
This workshop series is for school and district leaders who are responsible for implementing supportive and learning-centered smartphone-free school environments. It is ideal for the leader who cares about establishing a culture of high expectations for connection, learning, and support, in addition to positive enforcement of policy. If you hold individual or collective responsibility for implementing new policy or strengthening implementation of existing policy for phone-free schools, we encourage you to participate.

What You Will Learn
These workshops bridge empathy and evidence, preparing you to lead the successful implementation of phone-free schools through a structured, data-informed, and community-centered approach. You will apply these topics to your school’s unique context. Session activities and topics include:​​​
