Incubated by the Harvard Innovation Labs and founded by alumni of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Koru Strategy Group supports meaningful change and improvement across school systems and districts.
We support school systems in developing the skills and mindsets for growth and improvement that foster a culture of effectiveness, empowerment, engagement, and greater educational equity.
We believe that fundamental changes in how we approach improvement and engage in collaborative work lead to transformational results for students and communities.

Our work is focused on impact, evidence, equity, and teaming. In partnership with school and system teams, we establish lasting norms and best practices for collaborative work; develop and enact strategic plans that are scalable, sustainable, evidence-based, and student-centered; diagnose and design innovative solutions to problems of practice; and engage in continuous improvement cycles that lead to educational equity and long-term systemic change.

We serve state and regional departments of education, districts and school systems, departments and institutions of higher education, education non-profits and initiatives, regional professional learning providers and cooperatives, independent schools and networks, and other school systems and education organizations that want to learn and improve.
